അക്കാലത്ത് നബിﷺയും അനുയായികളും നേരിട്ട പരീക്ഷണങ്ങളുടെ നിരവധി ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഹദീസുകളിൽ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇമാം ബുഖാരി(റ)യും മുസ്‌ലിമും(റ) നിവേദനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു സംഭവത്തിന്റെ സംക്ഷിപ്തം ഇങ്ങനെ വായിക്കാം. അബ്ദുല്ലാഹിബിൻ മസ്ഊദ് (റ) പറയുന്നു. നബിﷺ ഖുറൈശികൾക്കെതിരിൽ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്ന ഒരു രംഗത്തിനേ ഞാൻ സാക്ഷിയായിട്ടുള്ളൂ. അതിങ്ങനെയാണ്. ഒരു ദിവസം നബിﷺ കഅബയുടെ ചാരത്ത് നിന്ന് നിസ്കരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു സംഘം ഖുറൈശികൾ അകലെയല്ലാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. നബിﷺ നിസ്കാരത്തിൽ സുജൂദിലേക്കെത്തി. അബൂജഹൽ കൂട്ടുകാരോടു ചോദിച്ചു. ഇന്നലെ അറുത്ത ഒട്ടകത്തിന്റെ കുടൽമാല കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് മുഹമ്മദ് ﷺ ന്റെ ചുമലിൽ ആരാണൊന്നിട്ടുകൊടുക്കുക. സംഘത്തിലെ അതിനീചനായ ഉഖ്ബ ബിൻ അബീ മുഐത്വ് എഴുന്നേറ്റു. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം അറുത്ത ഒട്ടകത്തിന്റെ കുടൽമാല ചുമന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. സാഷ്ടാംഗത്തിൽ കിടക്കുന്ന നബിﷺ യുടെ ചുമലിൽ ഇട്ടു കൊടുത്തു. കണ്ടിരുന്ന ഖുറൈശികൾ കുലുങ്ങിച്ചിരിച്ചു. ചിരിച്ചു ചിരിച്ച് പരസ്പരം വലത്തോട്ടും ഇടത്തോട്ടും ചാഞ്ഞു. നബി ﷺ ക്ക് സുജൂദിൽ നിന്ന് ഉയരാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല. ഞാൻ കണ്ടുകൊണ്ട് നിൽക്കുകയാണ്. എനിക്ക് പ്രതിരോധിക്കാനാകുമായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഞാനത് എടുത്ത് മാറ്റുമായിരുന്നു. ആരോ ഒരാൾ ഫാത്വിമ(റ)യെ വിവരമറിയിച്ചു. ചെറുപ്രായക്കാരിയായ ഫാത്വിമ(റ) ഖുറൈശികളെ വിമർശിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഓടി വന്നു. സാഹസപ്പെട്ട് ആ കുടൽമാല എടുത്തു മാറ്റി. നബി ﷺ ശിരസ്സുയർത്തി. നിസ്കാരം പൂർത്തിയായ ശേഷം അല്ലാഹുവിനെ സ്തുതിച്ചു. ശിരസ്സും കരങ്ങളും ആകാശത്തേക്കുയർത്തി. ഖുറൈശികൾക്കെതിരെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയാരംഭിച്ചു. നബി ﷺ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചാൽ വാചകങ്ങൾ മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം ആവർത്തിക്കും. അപ്രകാരം പ്രാർത്ഥന നിർവഹിച്ചു. അബൂജഹൽ, ഉത്ബ, വലീദ്, ശൈബ, ഉമയ്യ, ഉഖ്ബ എന്നിവരെ നീ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യേണമേ അല്ലാഹുവേ... ഏഴാമതൊരാൾ കൂടിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു പേര് ഞാൻ വിട്ടുപോയി. പ്രാർത്ഥന നിർവഹിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ സന്തോഷം മങ്ങി. ഇബ്നു മസ്ഊദ്(റ) തുടരുന്നു. ഈ പേര് പറയപ്പെട്ട ഓരോരുത്തരും ബദറിൽ വീണു കിടക്കുന്നത് ഞാൻ കാണുകയുണ്ടായി. പിന്നീടവരെ ബദ്റിലെ പൊട്ടക്കിണറ്റിൽ മറമാടപ്പെട്ടു.
ഇമാം ത്വബ്'രി(റ) ഒരു തുടർച്ച കൂടി ഇവിടെ ചേർക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഈ സംഭവത്തിന് ശേഷം നബി ﷺ പള്ളിയുടെ പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങി. കയ്യിൽ ചാട്ടവാറുമായി വരുന്ന അബുൽ ബഖ്തരിയെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടി. നബി ﷺ യുടെ മുഖത്ത് എന്തോ പന്തികേട് വായിച്ച അയാൾ ചോദിച്ചു. എന്ത് സംഭവിച്ചു? നബി ﷺ പറഞ്ഞു ഒന്നുമില്ല നിങ്ങൾ പൊയ്ക്കോളൂ. അയാൾ വിട്ടൊഴിയാൻ കൂട്ടാക്കിയില്ല. പറയാതിരിക്കാൻ തരമില്ലെന്നായപ്പോൾ നബി ﷺ വിഷയങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു. അയാൾ നബി ﷺ യെയും കൂട്ടി പള്ളിമുറ്റത്തേക്ക് തന്നെ വന്നു. അബുൽ ബഖ്തരി അബൂ ജഹലിനോട് ചോദിച്ചു നീയാണോ മുഹമ്മദ് ﷺ ന്റെ മേൽ കുടൽ മാലയിടാൻ കൽപ്പിച്ചത്? അയാൾ പറഞ്ഞു, അതെ. അബുൽ ബഖ്തരി ചാട്ടവാറുയർത്തി അബൂജഹലിന്റെ തലയിൽ അടിച്ചു. അയാൾ അട്ടഹസിച്ചു. കണ്ടു നിന്നവർ നാലുപാടും ഓടി. അബൂജഹൽ പറഞ്ഞു. നിങ്ങൾക്ക് നാശം മുഹമ്മദ് ﷺ നമുക്കിടയിൽ ശത്രുതയുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. അനുയായികൾക്കൊപ്പം രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നു.
സാധാരണയിൽ നബി ﷺ ആർക്കുമെതിരെ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാറില്ല. സ്വന്തം താത്പര്യത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ആരോടും ദേഷ്യപ്പെടാറില്ല. ശത്രുത വെക്കാറില്ല. എന്നാൽ സത്യം നിഷേധിക്കപ്പെടുകയോ മൂല്യങ്ങൾ ഹനിക്കപ്പെടുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ അവിടുന്ന് വിട്ടു വീഴ്ച ചെയ്യാറില്ല. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ചിഹ്നങ്ങളെയോ നിയമങ്ങളെയോ അപഹസിച്ചാൽ തങ്ങൾക്ക് സഹിക്കുമായിരുന്നില്ല. ഈ സംഭവത്തിൽ രക്ഷിതാവിനോടുള്ള ഏറ്റവും അടുക്കുന്ന ആരാധനാംശത്തെ അപഹസിച്ചു എന്നതാണ് പ്രശ്നം. അത് അവിടുത്തേക്ക് ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നതിലും അപ്പുറമായിരുന്നു. ഈ സംഭവത്തിന്റെ നിവേദകൻ ഇബ്നു മസ്ഊദ്(റ) ഇത്തരം ഒരേ ഒരു രംഗമേ പറയാനുള്ളൂ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടാണ് വിശദീകരിച്ചത്.

There are many incidents of trials in Hadeeth that the Prophet ﷺ and his followers faced at that time . A summary of an incident narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslim(R) can be read as follows. Abdullah bin Masuood (R) says. One day the Prophet ﷺ was performing prayer from near the the holy Ka'aba. A group of Quraish were sitting not far away. Abu Jahl asked his friends. Who will bring the guts of the camel that was slaughtered yesterday and put it on the shoulder of Muhammad ﷺ. Uqba bin Abi Mu'itw, the most evil of the group, stood up. He brought the guts of the camel that was slaughtered the other day. He put it on the Prophet'sﷺ shoulder when he was in prostration. They giggled and leaned to right and left. The Prophet ﷺ could not get up from prostration. I was standing there watching. If I could defend myself, I would have taken it and removed it. Someone informed Fatimah (R) . A young girl, Fatimah came running accusing the Quraish . She removed the bowel with much effort . The Prophet ﷺ raised his head. Praised Allah after the prayer. He raised his head and hands to the sky and began to pray against the Quraish. When the Prophet ﷺ prayed, he would repeat the words three times. Thus the prayer was performed. "O Allah, punish Abu Jahl, Utba, Waleed, Shaiba, Umayyah and Uqba... There was a seventh person whose name I have forgotten.
The joy of the enemies faded when they saw his supplication . Ibn Mas'uood continues. I saw that every one mentioned here by name fell down at Badr. And later all of them were thrown in to the bottom of the well.
Imam Tabari adds a continuation here. After this incident, the Prophet ﷺ went out of the masjid and met Abul Bukhtiri who was coming with a whip in his hand. He could read a kind of dipression on the face of the Prophet ﷺ and asked. What happened? The Prophet ﷺ said nothing, you may go. He was not ready to leave. When the Prophet ﷺ was unable to refrain from disclosing , he described the incident . He took the Prophet ﷺ with him and came to the courtyard of the masjid . Abul Bukhtiri asked Abu Jahl, "Are you the one who ordered to put bowels on Muhammad ﷺ . He said, yes. Abul Bukhatiri raised his whip and hit Abu Jahl on the head .He yelled . The onlookers ran around. Abu Jahl said, "Woe to you Muhammad (ﷺ) for creating enmity between us and escaping with followers.
Normally, the Prophet ﷺ did not pray against anyone. He did not get angry with anyone for his own interests. He does not breed enmity, but if the truth is denied or values are harmed, he does not fail to protest . He cannot tolerate mockery of Allah's signs or laws. The problem is that in this incident, the closest form of worship to the Lord was mocked at . It was unbearable for him. The narrator of this incident, Ibn Mas'uood (R) explained that there is only one such incident in which the Prophet of Mercy prayed against anyone .
